The investigation into Trump’s crimes has done exactly what I was afraid it would: it has discovered that the entire upper level of the administration is part of the conspiracy.
In my opinion, there are some apologies that are worse than nothing. If a course of action is harmful or annoying to others, yet we choose to pursue it anyway, it is a considered action; presumably we have weighed the pros and cons and decided that it’s still worthwhile.
One of the things that creeps me out about Mayor Pete is the corporate consultant-gabble that he sometimes drops into. It makes sense: he worked for McKinsey in his 20s, as one of the drones in the giant cash-extractive machinery of big dollar consulting. That’s where he learned to proactively leverage his synergies, I bet. [stderr]
