There’s a trope going around, lately (i.e.: since 2016) that goes something like:
Person A: says something critical of democrats
Person B: (rageflail) If you don’t support democrats you’re setting us up for another Trump, and you’re killing the planet! You’re probably a Bernie Bro!
Fascist boot-lickers seem to think they’re funny. But I just think they’re stupid.
I’m gonna just come right out and say it: if you’re a republican, you’re a dangerously delusional racist in denial. If you’re a democrat, you’re a dangerously delusional political hack in denial.
The domain name is suspicious, but it’s a plausible site – so, how are we supposed to tell if that’s really the Florida department of education, or just some very subtle trolling?
Someone over at PZ’s, in a comment, mentioned “confederate flag toilet paper.”
I’m pretty sure they won’t listen, now.
Trolley car experiments seem to be a rich topic for “memes.”
The United Nations needs to quit, and reconstitute itself without its structural flaws – namely the US, Russian, and Chinese veto. That’s an embarrassment and the veto reveals that the nature of the body to be a puppet, always trumpeting the interests of the rulers of the world.
I know a few people who were home-schooled as kids, and who grew up to be fine, decent people. I even new one who was incredibly precocious and was tutored (in addition to a good private school education) by both father and mother. Everyone in my high school class knew he was going to be somebody in the sciences and, he is! Yay!
