I used to work for a consultancy called Trusted Information Systems, back in 1990-1994, which was a big contractor for DARPA and NSA. That was how I wound up building security systems in some pretty interesting places including the Clinton White House.
I have this fantasy, which is that someone gave Donald Trump a laminated card that said “launch codes: man, woman, camera, a plan, burma shave” or something like that. He’s kept it, of course, because it’s valuable.
Contrary to my high school opinion, not all politicians are bad. Some actually appear to have decided that what they want to do in life is serve the public.

What I believe we’re looking at is the intersection of QAnon believers, anti-vaxxers, and incels.
The Qanon conspiracy is so absurd and stupid, that I did not pay much attention to it. After all, only an idiot would spare a thought for…. What? There are millions of idiots taking this shit seriously? Are you kidding me?!
When I came up with the name “stderr” for this blog, I was thinking about the way that the error-stream is unbuffered; that means that things come out in the order that they are printed, sort of like how I speak/write: blah blah blah unfiltered and there’s no “pause” button.
