My mother was busy over the summer and today I finally could take pictures of these two big doilies – just under 40 cm in diameter.

Two Bobbin Lace Doilies
Gorgeous, stars and flowers. That’s a lot work and a lot of skill.
It seems that the first is based on heaxgons and flowers with six petals (which ones?) and the second is based on a rose and pentagons, accompanied by the six-petal flowers.
