I wonder if aircraft designers at Supermarine were looking at swallows like these while designing the wings for their competition seaplanes and fighter Spitfire.
@Ice Swimmer, I had similar idea. “Looks like a little aeroplane.”
In fact, in Czech paper airplanes are called “vlaštovka”, i.e. swallow.
