Spring Blossoms and More…

Avalos has sent some spring blossoms and I am wholly envious. Here the spring is so far in various shades of gray and the weather would not be amiss in February. In fact, we had this weather in February…

And to top it off, there is also a very cute kestrel picture.

Right now we have three purple crocuses (croci? crocii?) blooming out front. Two in the garden bed, one in the lawn. I dream of having one of those lawns that, early in the spring, becomes a sea of crocuseseseses in ever blending colours. On the other hand (other yard?) the Eastern Red Bud in the back yard is starting to get ready to think about maybe blooming.

Thanks for posting Charly, these photos would also be great in smell-o-vision. The whole hill smelled of sweet flowers.I hope för a bountiful havest this year again.

@oggie #1: Oh crucusses are lovely. completely missed them this year.

(A small nitpick, my ‘nym is Avalus.;))

That is, indeed, an adorable kestrel! Lovely spring flowers. I’ll have to see what I’ve got…

Lovely flowers. Here, flooding could be the next stage (temperatures have risen and the sun and rains are melting the snow).

The kestrel is a nice catch.

I haven’t seen a krookus yet, this year.

    They’re lovely, Avalus.
I hope Fridays snow/storm didn’t hit you as hard. Here it felled so many trees in bloom. My heart is bleeding and also the buds on my newly bought fuck expensive wisteria died. The plant is still alive, yet, and I hope for a second bloom.
