    Here the starlings and fieldfares are gathering into big flocks and raiding all the berries that are still on trees in order to prepare for their flight south. The summer is alwasy too short and the winter too long.

    The weeping cherries here start losing their leaves in the middle of fecking August, and some species of poplar soon after. All in all the leaf season lasts about two and a half months, peaking near the end of September. Which is right around the corner, isn’t it? Too soon, too soon indeed!
