My phone is my only camera. It actually takes excellent quality macros if you can convince it to focus on your subject. However, both of these have degraded in image quality by being downloaded and uploaded, especially the scilla. I have set every setting I can find to “highest quality, and still Windows ruins all my photos automatically. :(

It’s sweet that you used my photos, but they are such low quality in comparison to the amazing captures. I have some amazing Cecropia moth drying it’s wings pics that will also be nothing but blurry pixels once I run them through e-mail.

It shouldn’t be a problem with windows, but try reducing the size a bit before sending, say to 1500 px X, and that should help. I really love the bubble shot, and I think it’s just fine. A lot of phone shots are of superb quality these days. I know the focusing problem though -- I still have my little Nikon Coolpix L1, and it will take stunning macros, but trying to get the damn thing to focus can take a long bloody time.
