Rick finally got the obnoxious asshole truck that everyone else has in this state. At least he genuinely needs a truck for his business. I felt that Harlan was an appropriate name for the obnoxious asshole truck. Harlan got the immediate stamp of approval from Jayne, who thinks it’s a fine ride indeed, what with him getting a whole seat to himself. Oh, for those who can’t resist the name thing, before Harlan, we had two Fords and two Chevys. Now it’s three Chevys and two Fords. :)

Lucky Dog!
Jayne’s very pleased, and surprised us both by taking to Harlan immediately. A lot of that, I think, is his not wanting to be left alone anymore.
Oh hooray! I was worried about Jayne not wanting to get into the truck, weirdly enough, so this is very cool. GOOD DOG! SMART DOG!
Kestrel, you weren’t alone, I was concerned too! Especially as I had to trick Jayne into a vehicle when he first came to us, he wanted nothing to do with it. I set up a strategy with Rick for when he went home, then said “he’ll probably surprise me and get right in.” Rick went home, got Jayne, and he ran straight out, pissed on a tire, and jumped right in when Rick opened the back door for him. Go figure.
I’ll pass the praise on. :D
My dogs used to love my farm truck because it had a bench seat, which meant that they could try to climb into my lap while I was driving. Which was problematic since they weighed 150lb -- each.
Jayne looks happy!
Needs a shotgun rack with a cricket bat in it. :D
Hahaha, no. No rack. :D Jayne’s 120 lbs, and he tries the same thing. Dogs.
So glad Jayne has decided Harlan is OK. “Good Jayne” from me too!
I’ll pass it on, Jazzlet. That boy’s gonna have a big head.
As long as it still fits in the truck! ;)
