I’ve been waiting to photograph this tree in sunlight, but the weather is not co-operating. This tree is glorious, but the blooms are already starting to drop so rather than wait for better light I took the photos today.

I couldn’t get over this tree the first time, and I still can’t. That just has to completely lift a person, seeing and smelling such beauty!

Magnolias are good looking trees most of the time, then for this short period they are absoutely stunning. Love them.

I love those big magnolia trees, and am grateful that at least a few types can grow in cold-winter climates. I just wish the flowers lasted longer!

Love them. We have one in our front yard but it’s as big or full as this one. Beautiful.

I love them as well. Too bad they wither if hit by a spring rain.
