The indulgent stares of the adult goats (parents?) in the third photo and the profound attentive ignoring of the Kid in the last just complete the whole picture.
No parental units in that pen. He is my new herdsire, or at least he will be if he doesn’t drown himself leaping into water troughs or doing something else equally silly. I bought him from another farm so unrelated. All the adult does in the photos were “great with child” when I took these pics but in two cases now the kids are born.
