The photos were taken one foggy evening in the beginning of April, this year. The dinosaurs are silent swans swimming in the waters between the shoreline and the sea ice, which was already quite porous at the time. They seemed to find food on the bottom.
Hietaranta (sand or silt beach) or colloquially Hietsu is probably the most popular beach in Helsinki. It’s located between the Hietaniemi cemetery and the sea.
Those are lovely! Serene and severe; the desaturated colors and lack of motion work together very well.
I love the monochromatic feel of these. They are lovely
Veeeery atmospheric and mysterious, like there’s an old legend about to come to life somewhere in there in the form of a mythical silhouette. #2 is my favourite.

The shadows in the distance in the second photo are trees on a islet/skerry called Taivalluoto.
a.k.a. beasts out of fairy-tales or maybe northern gods. :)
