I always thought the portrayal of the gods in Erik The Viking was utterly brilliant. I won’t spoiler it for those of you heathens who have not seen the movie. If you haven’t, it’s time to remedy that oversight!

    Yeah, an underrated film, IMO. Tim McInnerny as Sven the Berserk, Thorfinn Skullsplitter being nagged by his parents, etc etc.

    John Gordon Sinclair, who played Ivar the Boneless, starred in another excellent little film, Gregory’s Girl.
