On of the things Marcus sent was a mould to make 4 resin balls, each about 1″ across. I think Marcus made them himself and I love them. They have enough space and a big opening to put things inside and give cool results. I’ve been having lots of fun here.
Lots more beneath the fold
These are created in two steps: First I glue the metal sheet to the wall using some clear resin. After it cured I fill the mould with the coloured resin.
I did several seashell ones and I’m still not happy. My seashells are made from resin as well and they#re a bit too large..
A triptych in blue, click for full size. I used holographic foil in the middle to create the fractured effect
Happy bauble. The tiny fruit pieces and flowers come from a glitter set and have found their home here. Again I glue them to the mould and let them cure before adding the resin and foil.
The blue one isn’t quite finished yet as it’s missing it’s cap and jumpring.
Here you can see what happens when i skip that step: the flitter sinks to the ground.
More seashell experiments…
Golden deco stones. Looks like nuggets.
More of them, combined with some moss.
And finally, a last metallic one:
The light was just perfect for capturing this.
They’ll all be up for grabs, so choose wisely…
