Jack and I came upon a dancing tree over the weekend that we want to share with you. We haven’t seen one in a long time, and Jack thinks it’s because the trees are too cold and stiff in winter to dance. I can relate to that, so the boy might be right.

Great image and texture youcan almost feel through your eyes there. (Um, ouch! But you know what I mean I hope!) Hope they are deciduous. Or that I’m missng the leafy canopy for the framing. Are those splashes of green on the trunk lichens or epicormic (trunk-sprouting foliage) growth?
