From Lofty, who says: the garden’s solar collectors are all going gang busters in the late spring sunshine. Pictures taken with a $2 Kodak digital happy snapper from an op shop, as little lenses have a long depth of field. Click for full size. Just looking at that wonderful weather makes me feel good!

Yes, looking at brightly coloured and sunny pictures makes me feel better, too. Beautiful springtime!
Lucky Lofty! Around here, everything is turning brown and dropping. I always look forward to December 21 though. Shortest day of the year, but the days start getting longer from there. At least for us in the northern hemisphere.
The red and purples just go bang around all the spring green. Indeed, spring gives us life!
What is that tree in the first picture with the wonderful fuzzy red flower poofs?
Looks like a callistemon, otherwise known as bottlebrush. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callistemon
As for things going brown. Lofty’s garden pics don’t show it, but the parklands around here are already losing their green grass. Not as quickly, abruptly, as in some earlier years, but they’ll soon be brown underfoot everywhere.
