It has been raining here for days and even Jack is getting fed up. He doesn’t like the drops hitting his snout and he stops often to wipe his face on my pants. How special. The water does make some things look pretty, though. So here are some leaves on a pond.

I’d take some days and days of rain. We had some, but not near enough. though it’s gotten cold and the woods are nearly empty of people now,
That looks dangerously inviting to try and walk on.
@Giliell, same here, some rain, even first snow, but nowhere near enough.
The floating leaves are pretty to watch indeed. Here the first snow came today, but more liquid rain would be welcome as well.
Wow, those photos are great, voyager! It’s difficult to photograph leaves floating and under water, the angle and light need to be right. My attempts have never turned out this well!
We’re having the first day of rain after a week of warm sunny days followed by a few cold sunny days. Over the weekend I enjoyed the cold crisp air, clear skies and the beautiful October sunlight. Today it was cold, windy and rainy and I really didn’t enjoy going outside to feed the chicken first thing in the morning. Rain is good, but I would do without the damn cold wind.
Such a variety of leaves!
