Jack’s Walk

This morning at the Lake, ©voyager, all rights reserved

Jack and I went to the lake this morning and it was another day of gloomy skies. Or so I thought. About an hour after we got home it started to clear up and right now the sun is shining about as bright as it can in January. It’s wonderful.

We have had mostly cloudy skies for the week we’ve been away … until today when we came home. Lovely to see the country in the sun.

We are completely snowed in. In most of CZ is snow calamity. Today when I drowe home from work there were parts where I did not see more than about 20 m in front of me. At least so far it was not so serious around here to make it impossible for me to get to and from work at all, but it certainly does not make things easy.

    Charly,
Be safe driving and with shoveling.
We haven’t really had a snow storm yet this year. Very strange, now that I think about it.

The snow calamity bypassed us, thankfully. I find myself often looking into the distance like Jack and wondering where the snow is hiding.
    Stay safe, Charly!

It is a wistfully beautiful picture.

There has been snowfall here, but not enough to “make motorists surprised about winter” (to cause traffic chaos). Last night was beautiful and trees are still covered with snow (wind tends to make the snow fall off).

    Stay safe, Charly!

Lovely picture, looks like a very interesting place for both dogs and humans.

After 3 weeks of sunshine the rain is finally back. It’s much needed, after some really windy days last week the soils were beginning to dry up already. I had to water the garden, so it’s good that the rainwater tank is being replenished again.
