I don’t think they would have done this without due consideration to the track. Given the sheer speed, I don’t think there would be serious damage to the foundation. But, I’m not an engineer…
I’m sure they have all the permissions.
My heart is still cringing, at the same time I keep thinking I would love to do that (with due training and skills, of course) -- by bobsleigh or by car, doesn’t matter!

It makes me a little nuts, seeing that camera *right there* on the main screen of the Delfi video. I hope it survived.
