For every transgender communist, there’s a gay anarchist waiting to come out!

And here I’m trying to turn you into a transgender anarchist!

    Aren’t anarcho-syndicalists basically communists? :P If so you’ve succeeded.

I have tragically failed at the communism.

I was raised middle class, and though I’ve been pretty economically insecure most of my adult life, dis/ability, trans* experience, whiteness and womanhood have consumed so many hours of study that I’m just not sufficiently versed in issues of economic class to argue strong positions.

I’m consistently with the more sharing, less wealth-gap folks when actual policy proposals are made, but I’m not one who can really strongly argue for those (or, much of any) economic policy proposals intelligently (much less create intelligent proposals). So I’ve let others do that, and I’m just a hanger-on with respect to issues of socio-economic class.

I’d say anarcho-syndicalists are kind of like Reese’s peanut butter cups: you’ve got some communism in my anarchism.

Much props to them: they are trying to figure out what a post-capitalist economy might look like, having acknowledged that Epicurus’ nice little garden doesn’t scale for integrated economies.
