Was the apocalypse in the Fallout universe caused by single-resource dependencies for energy grids? Was it caused by desperate governments hellbent on nuclear proliferation? Was it caused by an extended practice of imperialism which never truly ended?!
No. I have discovered the truth.

So cool! The only Fallout that I have played through is Fallout 3, and only once through on that. Which Fallout is that screenshot from? I might have to go exploring the Fallout universe again!

That’s from my Fallout 4 playthrough. :)
Also this just tickles me happy in so many ways. Bethesda are masterful storytellers through the use of environments. Little details like this are what make exploration in their games so rewarding.

Well, it will probably be a while before I try Fallout 4. My CPU barely meets the minimum, and I don’t have enough RAM. Besides, I usually don’t buy games until long after initial release, mainly due to cost. Sixty bucks is a little steep for me for a game. I can upgrade my RAM from 6gb to 8gb without too much cost, but I will wait to see if the game will come down to around $20. I know it will not be soon. I search the specials on Steam for good prices on games I want, and occasionally catch a good one. Last year I picked up Fallout 3 for $10 in April, and around the end of October, I picked up Bioshock: Infinite for $8 and Skyrim for $10. I had not played any of those at the time, so you can see I don’t stay current. Great games though, so I don’t need the latest and greatest as long as it is fun.
