    Nah, he may look it, but I’ve handled quite a few of these (as a bander) and they truly are wimpy; just sort of lie there in my hand, like me in the dentist’s chair, wanting it over with.

    Nice crisp pictures. Bluejays are so photogenic.

    A while ago I saw a painting of a(n) (American) bluejay in a most unlikely place: On an outdoor electrical utility cabinet in the street Bulevardi in Helsinki, Finland. The electrical utility in Helsinki does have a program of art on the distribution cabinets, but seeing a bluejay was somewhat surprising.
