Its eyes are all “go ahead and try me”. Definitely the king of that leaf, it’s almost a Circle of Life moment; just needs a narrow shaft of sunlight right into its face to make the carapace glitter.
They are great and wondrous creatures. The best and weirdest body shapes, and for all the tiny, yes, they are packing attitude.
It’s the hat. The hat is intimidating. Reminds me of a Roman Legion helmet.
Somebody shortchanged them, though -- supposed to come with a giant fluffy feather. :)
