No idea. I expect they’ll show up in thread sooner or later.

Thanks for the complement. I’m Just an amateur with a point-and-shoot camera. I’ve always enjoyed seeing just how far I can push my simple cameras which are usually more complex and capable than many people with a simple camera realize.
It was seeing many of the macro shots here, such as the wonderful shots from D. Gregory and rq above, which inspired me to try some more myself despite the fact that my camera just doesn’t do macro well at all.
Honestly it’s their shots that are so much more impressive here. I tried peony shots a few weeks ago and just couldn’t make them work for me at all, yet rq makes them seem effortless. And those water lily pictures from D. Gregory represent not just beautiful pictures but demonstrate a trait of great photography which is that it’s often a matter of the effort of getting the shot that makes the shot great.
But thanks again for the complement.

A bunch of beauties! Our garden looks a little hammered just now, winter storms have been busy blasting the camellias the last week or so.

Is Kengi a professional photographer or is it just a hobby?
