MOORE — An Oklahoma state senator offered money to a teenage boy for “sexual stuff” and was found with him in a hotel room that reeked of “raw marijuana,” authorities said.

I read about this when it first broke, and had a fit of temper over one of the charges, which was something something within 1200 feet of a church or summat. All I could think of was “what the hell kind of stupid fucking law is that?”
No, I’m afraid not. But these stories are so common they have become banal. What percentage of the right wing is closeted and living a destructive and self-destructive life?
You’re not the only one who notices this shit. I fully expect forced-birth/anti-gay/Family-Values/conservative-Christian types to be outed for doing one or more of the things they make a career of opposing.
Republicans have neither values nor principles.
They only have an insatiable hunger for power and a matching love for cruelty to go with it.
