Breaking news: AFA proves it is predatory

The American Family Association says trans protections concerning bathrooms provides predators “no barriers access:

We’ve already had people testing this, going into Targets and men trying to go into bathrooms. There is absolutely no barrier,” she told host Stephen Bannon, who said “decent, hard-working people who don’t want their 4-year-old daughter to have to go into a bathroom with a guy with a beard in a dress.”

Just so we’re clear, you wanted to prove how predators would abuse trans protection policies… by abusing Target’s trans protection policy to send cis men into the women’s washroom.

Well, thanks for making that easier for us.

“Let’s punish trans women for the poor behaviour of cis people.” Accountability? Nah. Innocent until proven guilty? Not in the AFA!

I think I’m going to actually vomit everywhere if I hear any more “concern” about teh womenz from the same political groups that brought us mandatory ultrasounds prior to abortions.

I think everyone is blogging this, and good thing, too. The more their stupidity is highlighted, the better. Anyone, anywhere, can walk into any public lav, that’s how it’s always been. Are they going to figure that out? My guess would be no.

I agree with you, Caine, regarding the exposure this is getting. As I said on your blog, I equate it with roaches and their aversion to light. These “christians” are simply driving reasonable people away from them at ever increasing rates. YAY!

I think they could start fundraisers, and use some of that cash pile they are sitting on to start building their own public lavs, labeled: Male Bigots / Female Bigots, then no one would have the trauma of sharing a lav with them.

I will eat my fucking boots if somebody can show me when an assault charge anywhere in the world was dismissed specifically because the accused stated they were trans.

It’s like, I wish that was a get out out of jail free card. In reality, it’s more like a giant bullseye.

Oh, and I’m a bootblack. They’re some nice ass boots.

    Oh, and I’m a bootblack.

Oooh. Um, pardon my distraction. Have you read The Killer Wore Leather by Laura Antoniou? I had more than one fave character in that book, but the bootblacks were high on that list.

Leave it to the Christians to focus on what is between people’s legs and not what is in their heart.

I confess, I used a women’s lav once because the men’s was out of service. I did stick my head in the door and ask if anyone was there, etc, before I just walked in – I’m not a conservative, after all, I’m polite.

I’m more worried about having a speaker of the house of representatives sitting in an easy chair watching me take a pee than I am a trans person. But I’m too old to appeal to any republican politicians anymore (sigh) Maybe some mega-church pastor’d still want to stare at me, though. Eeew.
