From rq, a most beautiful art work: So out of that comment conversation earlier this morning/today, I made some art that looks completely unrelated but came out of the emotions. Also it is called “Life is Not a Ringing Bell” and I have decided to dedicate it to Rick. Such a beautiful piece, filled with quiet emotion and love. Life is not ringing a bell, but it is having a partner who loves you enough to nag you into doing what you should, and having a friend who can express that so well. Thank you is so very inadequate. That is lovely!
My brain sees it and tries to interpret letters and words.

At first I thought there was only one bird. Then I spotted another, and another.

This keeps pulling me in, swirl after swirl. I think, we need each other to see what’s in our blind spots, out of our angles of vision, hear what’s out of the range of our hearing, out of our reach to feel and touch.
Caine says
Ice Swimmer, I agree completely. We do.

My favourite bird is the one on the lower left, with a little acorn cap on their head.

This is so beautiful, rq. I can’t stop looking at it. Somehow it doesn’t feel completely unrelated to that conversation, though I can’t quite put into words why. That little bird in the middle is speaking to me in a particularly strong way. Trying to come up for air.

It’s wonderful, rq. I’ve been back to look at it several times because I kept feeling there was a connection I wasn’t making. This time I got it. It reminds me of water with the squiggles and dots as waves and bubbles. Even the birds look like fish from certain angles.

RQ,
This is a beautiful, soothing, “see what matters most to you”, Open, Water, Air, Celebration of Life, Leaves, Sun, Shadow, piece of Art.
None of the above could create a Bell to Ring, though they all make their own noises, if you can appreciate natural noises.
Right now, air, water, and static electricity are having fun making a lot of noise. Never heard a Bell. Just Thunder, and rain, and always Wind.
Thanks for Art that reminds what life is all about.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words.
You are more than welcome, dakotagreasemonkey. Perhaps a better title would be ‘Life is Not Just a Ringing Bell’. Looking forward to some thunder this afternoon myself.
