Most birds feed continually, even while nesting. One exception is Mourning Doves, because they can feed by milk crop. They rarely leave the nest.

Somebody needs a napkin. She makes me think of an old aunt or godmother (= pretty much any close woman friend of the family who may or may not be directly related) who comes to tea all dressed up proper but talks with her mouth full of half-chewed cake. :D
I wonder if she hasn’t started nesting yet or is the hubby on incubation duty. It seems the food is good.
