I see an awesome feather-style on the far right birdie in the top picture.
That’s just the inner rat trying to get the heating started.
And is also why there is one less puppet in the second picture. The rat succeeded. With a loud BOOM! Hence the startled looks on the remaining puppets. The next picture would show the smoking remains of a few feathers landing.

There’s something ominous about the black goateed sparrow that’s looking at the camera. I also suspect that one long-necking in the first photo like the one on the left is doing in the second.
