We have solved the problem of how coconuts can make to Aurthur’s round table! Namely: The turtle clearly couldn’t have climbed or flown up to perch on the flower. Therefore, it was airlifted there by the bug. And a bug which can carry a turtle can clearly carry a coconut. Q.E.D.(that’s a term used in logic to mean Q.E.D.).

Plenty of swallows — they love eating bugs exhausted from carrying coconuts(easy to catch and make into a nice curry, being so considerate to bring fresh coconut milk) — albeit not the African kind, as they are non-migratory.

That shot of the butterfly on milkweed is breathtaking. Having a built-in straw would be sooo useful.

There is also the mildly deranged penguin method (usually, admittedly, applied to beer volcanoes but should also work with plants): Excavate. Invert. Pour into open beak. Replace into hole in hopes of another vintage.

Prof. Hubert J. Farnsworth: Very well. Eh, Cubert, fetch my drinking teeth.
