BTW, I’m back on a regular schedule, so we’ll be back to science and atheism and all that fun stuff tomorrow. I was off for a few days and made the most of it. Before that I tried to set up some timed posts, but that turned out to exceed my capabilities or something … . I’m glad I missed most of the news coverage. It’s an old joke, punchline, politics. If those politics included things like social justice, income and marriage equality, beefing up programs for the poor and unemployed, stuff even a non believer like myself knows Jesus spoke about almost exclusively, the religious right might not take such a credibility hit. Former NASA employees in my former neighborhood are finding out what the rest of us knew for years: the Spacecoast job market sucks even in good times, now it’s virtually un-inhabitable. I feel bad for them, not all of them voted for the economic policies that rewarded repackaging and reselling shady derivatives over actually making things.
