A Dalmatian hangs its head while the spots normal for the breed show, upon inspection, that they have been modified with permanent ink to have eight little legs extending from each round spot. As a result, the poor dog looks as if it is covered in cartoon spiders.

Is there any reason NOT to suspect the Myers clan?

    That picture made me google whether dogs passed the mirror test (I was curious if the dog would be really annoyed by looking in a mirror). The first link said that they don’t pass the standard visual mirror test, but that they do pass a variant of the mirror test based on smell. I was tempted to go down the rabbit hole into figuring out what that could possibly mean, but decided I had already wasted enough time.

    I wonder whether the dog knows that his appearance has been altered. He does look rather unhappy about what the humans he loves have done to him.
