All joking aside: Trans readers, you’ve been through hell this week. Even if you’re not American you’ve been exposed to a firehose of rhetoric discussing your disposability. And I know if I am so, so done with cis people turning me into a kickball that I’m not likely alone. I want every cis person dispassionately arguing that I deserve no healthcare, that I’m too expensive, that I’m not worth enough, I want them to feel, for just a fraction of a second, the pain and fear we have to deal with just to leave the god damn house.
I will not have my value debated. I will not stand to see yours questioned either. Take a break. Vent here.
