One of the more unusual animals at our zoo: a fossa. It#s the largest predator in Madagascar (and not nicely portrayed in the movie).
I think they’re trying to get him a partner as part of the ex situ conservation program.

What a beauty!
“… ripping off our limbs…” makes me chuckle every time.
It’s very cat-like and quite handsome. I hope they find him a mate because even solitary creatures need their own kind to relate to now and then. Also, it seems the fossa is considered “vulnerable” in Madagascar.
