From my regular walks. Some flowers are in my garden, but the delicate clover blossoms are in the woods, where they’re grabbing the sunlight now before the trees grow their leaves.

I planted these last autumn, and the package promised almost black flowers. Well, never trust a package, but they ARE lovely.

They’re all beautiful! The not-black tulip is my favorite I think. I’m craving colour and I really like the way it’s lit up. The forest flowers are lovely, too, but the dandelions are so bright and pretty. I often wish we didn’t have to cut the grass so that it could turn into a small natural meadow with all kinds of weeds and wildflowers.

Lovely. Our spring is not that far yet, but it is furhter than I would like it to be.
Beautiful, especially the not black tulip and the wood anenomes (not clover) which are so delicate.
One of the things I have been enjoying this spring is the invaders that have crept through the hedge between our garden and our neighbour’s in the front garden -- primroses, lots of them all along the hedge line and down the centre of the drive.

I’m wondering how long that tree will last. In case it’s not clear from the pic, it grows on a fallen, rotting tree trunk.

Well, right now I’m very curious to see how the supposedly almost black liliums I planted this winter will turn out. Last year I planted orange ones and they turned out pink, so…
