Jack’s Walk

North Beach, Perce, Quebec, ©voyager, all rights reserved

Jack and I took a stroll along North Beach this morning. This is one of our regular go-to places when we’re here because it’s just across the road from where we stay and it’s seldom busy. It’s also beautiful and full of fossils, sea glass, agates and pretty stones of many types.

Wandering around on a beach has to be dog heaven. I took a friend’s dog for a walk around some tidal pools and I am pretty sure everything edible was eaten, and what wasn’t was sniffed or woofed at.

Wonderful rugged scenery. The beach sounds like a wonderful place.

For me, the exotic part are the cliffs. That kind of yellowish brown coloured bedrock isn’t something you’ll come across here a lot. Gray, red/reddish brown and dark gray/black are typical.

    Fossils, what kind of fossils?

Our dogs love beaches too. We once went to a beach that had star fish washed up on it, lots of starfish and the springer we had at the time was in heaven eating at many as she could before we stpped her. She then threw them up on the hire car seats, must have been a couple of pounds of the damn things.
