Beautiful blobby blobs. The colour is reminiscent of the colour freshly cut alder wood gets, for a while. So it looks a bit like alder logs doing the same thing that frozen mozzarella sticks that have been kept in the oven a bit too long do.

Those are amazing fungi, such a bright and intense colour! Little Lava Fungus sounds appropriate to me, if that’s not their name it should be.

They’re certainly not shy, they’ve been in their present form for many months now. The white ones can be the Conservative Fringe Fungus.
