One of our cacti has blossomed this year, one whose blossoms open only for one night. So I had to take the picture in late evening sun.
And as I was walking from the glasshouse, I took a shot of the elderberry too.

Those cactus blossoms are incredible, they look so luminescent.
Oh lovely! We have a cactus that blossoms like that but in pink. In fact I noticed today two buds are coming up. I’ll have to keep an eye on them, it’s so easy to miss it.
The cactus petals look so thin and yet white and opaque. And indeed, luminescent. They’re gorgeous.
