Keyhole.
This is quite possibly be the only non-nature photo you are going to see for this round, but it was the one I immediately thought of for the letter K. It was taken last year as part of a larger project that I did for the local amateur theatre group. No, I have no talent whatsoever for theatre, but they apparently thought I could help them with the photography part and invited me. I was completely out of my element, but I think in the end they were happy with the result and it was lots of fun to work with them!

There’s a lovely air of age and mystery in this photo.

This reminds me of mysterious boxes, which I love. If I could I’d go around and buy mysterious locked boxes just to find out what’s inside.

Kestrel, me too. :D

Caine and kestrel: This is a very old suitcase, I just loved the way it looks, like it could contain so many secrets and stories to tell. I never opened it but I assume it was empty, since it got carried around quite a lot by an old lady and was even spun in the air at some point. :)
Marcus Ranum, thank you!

I love the sentimental feeling you’ve created. That case is just asking to be opened and I bet it’s full of secrets and stories.

Reminds me of when my sister and I found grandma’s old suitcase, the one that she carried out of the country as a refugee, through the DP camps and into Canada. It was full of letters, from all the left-behind siblings and other relatives.
Nostalgia.

This is definitely a suitcase one would find in a grandparent’s attic.
I love the picture.
