   Yes, I saw and listened both this version and the original version by Tuomari Nurmio, now listening to the second version by Tuomari, Valo Yössä Twist. A good song in all three incarnations.

   You seem to be a bit short of ä and ö, which aren’t produced in large quantities on that side of Atlantic. Let smuggle some there:

   Thank you! It’s hard for me to find proper lyrics, and I had limited time. I’ll replace the ones in the post. I love it when Valo sings in Finnish, because I can clearly hear the pronunciation of all the words, which is really helpful.

   The versions of Valo yössä by Tuomari Nurmio a.k.a. Dumari (Helsinki slang for judge) (the stage name means Judge Nurmio, his real name is Hannu Nurmio) are somewhat unclearly articulated for some reason having to do with rhythm, tempo and Dumari’s weird vocal timbre. He has other songs sung in a clearer way.

   Yeah, now that you mention it, Ville Valo does sing without slurring or mumbling.

   Ville Valo has remarkable clarity in singing, it’s rare you don’t understand a lyric sung by him. When it comes to slurring, oh, Icelandic. It seems a good portion of it is slurred when spoken or sung; it makes it difficult to pick words up. I have to make a very concentrated effort with Icelandic. Much of Sólstafir I have down now, but some of it continues to elude me. I’ve done much better with Árstíðir, with Orð Að Eigin Vali being the first song I could distinguish by ear only.

   All that said, I’ve found old Norse easiest, like with Wardruna.
