Sort of. This is a vintage pattern cutting board, 74″ x 40″. They make nice room dividers or screens for hiding whatever. I’ve been meaning to get to this for ages. Thank you!
That’s the word for horses. Wakan means holy or sacred. Horses are Thunder beings, of divine origin. Well, that’s as close as I can get with English, but it doesn’t have anything to do with gods.

Marcus’ comment reminds me of a story a horse trainer told me. He was in the barn with all the horses he had in for training looking over their stall doors, and his ten-year-old son walked in and said, “Dad, which one of these is a son-of-a-bitch?”. He just wanted to know. Because of course he’d heard Dad call them that, and he wasn’t sure which one.
:-D

Caine, I always notice how much vitality your art expresses, in any media. Wish I could see these in person, I’m sure the energy is even stronger. I love the black background, it makes the horse look as if it is materializing from the dream space.
A mural?
Love the mane and the flowing lines.

Is that the word for “horses” or is that the word for “damn thing”?
I am pretty sure my P-nut thought his name was “damn thing” -- that was mostly what I called him.
