Huh. Turns out I’ve been mixing up siskins and green finches in the wild. Or maybe they just both appear together all the time. :)
They’re adorable, and I love how you got both male and female specimens!

Beautiful birds. We get pine siskins here, these birds though are more colorful than the pine siskins.
@rq, they are the same genus as greenfinch (Carduelis), but greenfinch does not have the dark green cap and siskin is much smaller. Actually tiny is a better word.
