The mildly deranged penguin is trying to develop a pea spray (using throughly killed peas, or course) which can be used in situations like this: Not only does the rat stay away, it urinates all over the desk. That causes everything else to stick to the desk, and so, in time, mostly stay away. Ergo, the desk can now be used, albeit you’ll tend to be, ah, glued to it…
She(the mildly deranged penguin) says it will come in a number of flavoursordures. She has high hopes for the Blue Whale Dung, in part because one, ah, “sample” can make perhaps a year’s-worth of product — a minor problem being Blue Whales are not known for eating peas, killed or otherwise. Hence the experimental vats to breed a suitably tamed(? trained?) breed of Bpea Wales, so far without much success as “they” seem to prefer leeks. And sheep.

She is. River is my little darlin’. She knows she’s not supposed to be on the desk, so she’s a bit timid when I allow her, but it doesn’t last long. :D

The first and the second are my faves. The angle and the posture are interesting. The second shows curiosity in spades.
Photos just don’t do her justice at all, she has several different shades of gray, edging into blue, like how the colours in a river can be different, but blended, depending on the light. River is an inquisitive girl, and very playful.
