I forget the name of the group, but my wife donates her hair to make wigs for people with cancer who have lost their hair due to chemo, etc. She lets it grow for a year or so, then cuts it and donates it. I am proud of her contribution.
My previous comment was not meant as a commentary on how you use your hair. I hope you did not take it that way. My wife would probably be fascinated with your use.
I do have a question: are you able to clean and reuse your hair for other projects? I know that some paintbrushes use different types of hair and they can be cleaned and reused.
No, no, you’re fine! As I said in the post, my other ponytails have been donated. As for washing, I thought about it, and I might be able to do that, but I kind of like it the way it is now. I have to think about it some more.
