Before clicking full size, I was thinking, “Weird flower.”
I have never seen anyting like that.
There’s too many of them!!!
This is amazing -- and I thought my poppies had it bad!
Also loving the colours, intense.
When I first saw it, I thought “wow, that’s a weird looking thistle.” Got closer, and saw the host of little bee butts. Never seen that before.

I really miss bess -- all of them have crashed in my area.
Busterggi, that’s happened here, more than once. They’ve come back, but never in the numbers that were around about 12, 15 years ago. Then, they were everywhere.
