That was supposed to be the Daily Bird!!
Ze was getting ready to fly away just after grooming hirs feathers. I was lucky to get the shot!
I can see it taking flight… eventually… give it a few million years…. :D Did it stop to pose, or did you have to run for the action shot? :D
rq, you should have seen it! I raced down the driveway in 3rd gear, redlining the engine, hanging out of the passenger side window, steering with my left hand as I took those shots. Such drama! Such excitement! And then the great beast was gone in a flash of feathers! I deleted a few dozen shots of green and asphalt blurs. I was lucky to get those two.
