The beetle in the middle photo isn’t actually dead yet. It was fascinating to see the spider, about 5x smaller, dart in and tie down the bertle’s legs one at a time into a tight little knot of legs. Lots of panicked struggling from the beetle.
Spiders gotta eat too!
