Yep, it’s moss. While I’m fighting the moss in our “lawn” tooth and nail*, I admire the different kinds of moss that grow in my neighbour’s unused garden part.

*I’m probably creating hedgehog heaven by throwing it all on one heap which is by now the size of a king size bed. Also a handy food reserve for deer when winter comes.

Is the first butterfly a “,”?
I haven’t realized that butterflies could have bright patterns on the undersides of their wings as well. Admirals (Vanessa?) seem to do.
In the last the leaves are reminiscent of Chinese Gunpowder tea.
