As announced over on Pharyngula, our very own Spider Professor ran a stream today reading and reacting to the comments on his previous video on trans people and the complexity of defining ‘sex’. Crip Dyke, Sarah, and I joined him for this, and here it is:
A small confession: Barring a couple of not widely viewed D&D game videos from a few years ago, this was actually my first livestream! I would like to think it does not seem like it.

Hello, as a fellow long-term FTB lurker, I want to thank you for being there as well. You did a wonderful job and looked AND sounded wonderful as well. All bad jokes and IT references are welcome. Stay safe and stay involved online.

okay am doing a heckin’ blush now.
Seeker of Reason and Amusement and Beer says
Blush away, we need more caring, intelligent, good-humored humans online. The clouds of stupid and uncaring have been growing for too long and we all need some nice extra sunshine (even the fresh Canadian kind) to fight through them.
Stay safe.

Definitely did not seem like it; I guessed you had lots of experience. (In a showing-my-age moment, what I guessed was that you had lots of experience as a radio host. But you came across brilliantly.)

Not TOO far off, actually. I’ve never done radio, but I’m an improvisor and occasionally MC’d stuff, and a few years ago i ran (and hosted) a monthly panel trivia show called ‘Geek: Interesting’.

I’ve been a lurker on FtB for a while now. I’ve started following Impossible Me because of the live stream you mentioned. (I watched the rerun…I think it was a link on Pharyngula.)
