A Bright New Week

It might be Monday and it might still be winter, but thanks to Nightjar we have Portuguese wildflowers and sunshine. All the photos were taken in mid-January.

I especially like the first two. Sunshine is truly welcome at this time of gray skies, wet snow and ice.

Once in a late December I looked at some digital photos taken in the nearby park exactly six months earlier, on a sunny summer day. I was like, whoa, was it really that beautiful out there?

The flowers are full of bright colours and the sunshine feels soothing. What a nice gift to get on a(nother) cloudy, grey day. Thanks, Nightjar.
